Peninsula Tea Gardens has an enviable location high on the banks of the Swan River opposite the historic homestead of Tranby House surrounded by oaks.
On my second visit for a pot of English Breakfast there was a small improvement in the presentation, the strainer did not fall into the cup and this time the cup was not chipped. No jug of hot water was supplied with the pot of tea. The service was still a little too slow, although the view of boats on the river cooled any impatience which may have arisen.
Positives were the bone china cup made tea drinking elegant and the pot did not drip.
3.5 teaspoons of five from us for a pot of tea.
